Aridus, Arizona Merlot 2022 Review By Rich Cook

This winery continues to impress. This is a seductive Merlot, with fleshy red and black fruit as well as dill and brown spice riding balanced acidity through the finish where the dill tones come forward a bit. That should calm down with some additional bottle aging. The vineyards in Arizona tend to be at higher elevations, which keeps the needed acidity intact.
