Aridus 2023 Sauvignon Blanc

Tasted by WineCenturyAZ on 10/10/2025 & rated 89 points: This is a softer style Sauvignon Blanc leading me to guess there are some other varietals blended in and not called out on the label or online (Aridus makes a fantastic Malvasia and wouldn’t be surprised if some made its way in here). Pale lemon in the glass, moderately aromatic nose of citrus and blossom, palate is dry, citrus, lime, pith, apple, tropical fruits, quince, white floral notes, acidity is medium +, body medium, finish long. Very nice representation of AZ wine.
Tasted by The Drunken Cyclist on 9/20/2025 & rated 91 points: Retail $40. Very Responsible Bottle (494g; 17.4oz). Under screw cap. I had to use two pair of pliers to remove the screw cap as the capsule just spun. IJB said that this contains some Muscat and Malvasia Bianca, but I could not find any evidence of that online. The wine, however, seems to support that assertion, however, with a near-yellow color, a largely tropical nose, buoyed by honeysuckle and white hyacinth, a rich unctuous mouthfeel, and plenty of ripe fruit. If I were tasting this blind, I would be hard-pressed to guess Sauvignon Blanc off the bat, but this is a delightful, alluring quaff that will appeal to a wide variety of audiences. Excellent. 91 Points.

Nose of citrus, red and yellow apples, pears, Mediterranean spices, light minerals and white pepper.
Full-bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with limes, apples, pears, melons, sea salt, light earth, herbs and spices.
Long finish with lemons and light herbs.
This is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc from Arizona. Elegant and rich. Complex and interesting. Tangy and spicy.
Good right out of the bottle, and better after 30 minutes of airtime. Better when not too cold.
I've had a few vintages of this wine, and this is my favorite so far.
Not a typical New World Sauvignon Blanc, which is nice to see. A great sipping wine, refreshing and easy drinking.
A blend of 89% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Malvasia Bianca and 1% Muscat.
13.4% alcohol by volume.
92 points.
Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 8/7/2025 & rated 89 points: Light yellow color. Fresh and tropical with flavors of yellow and white flowers, some lemon verbena tones, hints of chives and green onion, over top of yellow pears and ripe white peaches. The palate has some creamy texture and vibrant acidity, all wrapped up nicely. Flavors of honeydew melon, white peach, bruised yellow pears, the fruit is matched with cool tones of dandelion, white pepper, and lemon peel. Fun, lively, well done. Includes some Malvasia Bianca and Muscat, aged in stainless steel.
