Tasted by The Drunken Cyclist on 9/23/2025 & rated 90 points: Retail $40. Very Responsible Bottle (459g; 16.2oz). Under screw cap. Of the six wines that the kind folks at Aridus sent me, this Malvasia Bianca was the one I was most eager to try. There is simply not a ton of it in this country and I have always enjoyed those that I have tried. As is the case here. In the glass, a pale straw with lovely tree fruit aromas: bright peach, Asian pear, a touch of red apple. But there is also a pronounced floral component with honeysuckle and white rose and even some tropical fruit notes of pineapple and citrus. Yowza. The palate is initially off-dry (20g/l residual sugar), but the tangy, zesty acidity soon joins to bring balance. We tend to eat a lot of Asian food and this is a homerun pairing. Excellent. 90 Points.

Tasted by isaacjamesbaker on 8/7/2025 & rated 90 points: Light yellow color. Aromas show a tropical burst of peach nectar, pineapple, and guava, blended with dandelion, dried honey, and white flowers. Creamy texture, the palate is pleasantly plump but balanced by lively acidity. There’s a sweet, tropical fruit salad bowl packed in here (green grapes, white peaches, pineapple, guava, and white cherries). I also get hints of clover, honey, and sea salt. It’s rare this grape intrigues me, but this is a really nice iteration, great for Summer and beyond. All Malvasia Bianca aged in stainless steel and the 20 g/l of residual is balanced in really nicely.

Fruity nose of citrus, mangoes, lichee, yellow apples and honey.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Off dry on the palate with melons, pineapples, apples, pears, light herbs, mangoes, honeydew, light spices and light butterscotch.

Nice finish with tropical fruits and spices.

This is such a fun wine to drink. Rich and fruit forward. Nicely balanced, with enough acidity to balance the sugars. Refreshing with nice complexity.

Easy drinking and dangerously good. I couldn't stop drinking it.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and a good party wine too.

100% Malvasia Bianca grapes were picked at night, and aged in stainless steel vats. A small production of 5,000 bottles.

10.1% alcohol by volume.

90 points.
