Aridus, Arizona Cabernet Franc 2021 Review
Written by Rich Cook
Aridus’ commitment to regional fruit and constantly improving winemaking always have me looking forward to new releases. Vineyards in southeastern Arizona seem to enjoy the struggle of high elevation and arid climate, and the winery’s pioneering spirit keeps some very interesting wines coming. This has a juicy, ripe nose of red fruits and wildflowers, and a long, fruit forward yet food friendly finish thanks to the large diurnal temperature swings possible in Cochise County. If you want to amaze your blind tasting group, this will do the trick!
