Amateur Sommelier Aridus Wine Co. Viognier

A nice lucious white wine that's comes out of Arizona, giving you light fruity flavors and a solid base of minerality. The aroma of this wine is full of honeysuckle, light citrus, minerals, and a little pear. The taste strays from the aroma slightly with white peach, pear, Meyer lemon, minerals, floral taste, and a slight hint of cardamom. This strays from the typical dry and medium acidic Viognier. This has a more lucious texture, helping to highlight the more fruity flavors. The acidity is fairly light but is still present enough to make your mouth water while you drink it. The main characteristic of every Viognier is its minerality, this bottle is no different. The mineral taste is a strong base that acts as a constant in the tasting, a strong base while the fruity flavors change through the aftertaste.
