Update on winery activities as of June 3, 2026

The bottling line has been busy. Today we bottled 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon and 2023 Cabernet Franc. Next up to be bottled will be 2023 Petite Verdot, 2023 Merlot, 2025 Malvasia and 2024 Viognier, with 2024 Graciano coming up soon.

Bottling is always a very lively time at the winery, with a lot of good spirits but also we focus very precisely on what we’re doing, since so much is at stake. Only occasionally do we play music, since the team needs to focus 200%! Consider that in the 3 seconds it takes to fill a bottle and insert the cork a wrong step could mean wrecking a year’s work. We take it very seriously (although occasionally you might see some fooling around with wine labels mysteriously appearing on people’s backs!).
