The Impact of Monsoons on the Grapes and the Vineyard in Arizona

People ask us about the impact of monsoons on the grapes and the vineyard. Of course every year is different. For the last two years huge monsoons were predicted but didn’t materialize. They usually come around harvest time, but we can’t predict for this year, at least, as of right now. They can delay picking for a few days, but that’s about it. When you’re at Mother Nature’s whim, you don’t know until you’re done, late in the season! The official monsoon season in Arizona is June 15 to September 30.
