Mushroom & Goat Cheese Flatbread

This easy flatbread recipe pairs wonderfully with our 2013 Vintner's Reserve.
  • 1 flatbread dough
  • 1 cup baby Bella Mushrooms
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 4 ozs goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan for garnish
  • 1/2 tsp each of salt & pepper
  • 3 tbsps Italian Herbs
  • 1 green onion chopped

Cook mushrooms in butter for 5 minutes or until half way cooked ad drain water. In a bowl combine goat cheese, salt, pepper, and Italian herb and mix well.
Bake the flatbread at temperature suggested by pack, but only for 2 minutes, take out and quickly spread the goat cheese mix and add mushrooms and add 1/2 cup of Parmesan, then baked for 2-3 minutes, or until fully cooked.
Cut into desire size and garnish with the green onion and 1/4 of Parmesan, serve and enjoy it!
