Very nice, blue fruit feel to it. (Blueberries, blackberries, etc.) It has nice, dark toast notes with a linger of strong coffee liquor.
We sourced the fruit for our 2016 Petite Sirah from Sándor Vineyards on September 10th, 2016. They were crushed on September 11th, 2016 and inoculated on the 12th with L23-23 yeast. Fermentation lasted a total of 7 days and was pressed on September 22nd, 2016. We barreled down on September 27th, 2016 where it will continue to age until bottled.
Should produce about 80 cases.
