Palate: Layered aromas of red plum, dusty roses and raspberry along with hints of sandalwood.
We sourced this fruit from the Sándor Vineyards nestled in the Chiricahua Mountains. Harvested on September 3rd, 2014, it was then inoculated with D21 yeast and aged in New French oak and neutral oak until November 2015, when it was bottled.
This lighter style Grenache is soft and low in acidity. It has unmistakable candied fruit roll-up and cinnamon flavor, strong smells of orange rinds and ruby-red grapefruit, with classic herbal notes of dried oregano and tobacco. It has lighter hues of ruby red with aromas of black cherry, molasses and black pepper. Layered aromas of red plum, dusty roses and raspberry along with hinds of sandalwood hit the palate nicely
