Bright, yet creamy on entry, this rosé delivers the flavors of macerated cherries, tropical fruit and fresh peeled apples. Pairs wonderfully with all seafood, but especially with seared scallops in a curry sauce.
We sourced the fruit for this beautiful balanced Rosé from Asmundson Family Vineyard located in Elgin, AZ in September 2014. Simply made, this rosé of Grenache was whole-cluster pressed the day we received the fruit and immediately transferred to a small stainless steel tank. Fermented to dryness using the D47 yeast and immediately dosed with Potassium Metabisulfite to prohibit malolactic fermentation. Cold stabilized and filtered, this rose retains its fresh varietal character and should be consumed before 2017. Bottled April 2015.
This 2014 Grenache Rosé has a clear, pale salmon hue. It has exotic aromas of dragon fruit and peach yogurt are framed by subtle notes of spice, dried oregano, and flowers.
