Aridus Wine Company is a family owned custom crush winery located in the heart of Southeastern Arizona. Aridus opened its cellar doors in 2012 after refurbishing an existing 28,000 sf. apple warehouse. It is one of the largest winery facilities in the state, where it houses state of the art wine making equipment. Surrounded by majestic mountains, the beauty of this modern rustic style winery is just as stunning as the wines it produces. By procuring prized grapes from Arizona, New Mexico, and California, Winemaker Lisa Strid blends the essence of exceptional terroir ranging from the desert to the California coast. Using cutting edge winery equipment, we handcraft complex and balanced wines, which express the aromatic profile of what can only be made in Arizona.

Our award-winning winemaking techniques create elegant, approachable and perfectly balanced wines of the highest quality through blending the best of Old World and New World wine styles. Explore the difference of exceptional wines made from unique grapes produced in a 2014 design award winning sustainable winery.

Estate Vineyards: Aridus has owned 40 acres along Turkey Creek in Pearce, AZ since 2009. At 5,200 feet in elevation, the warm days and cool nights will bring its exceptional terroir and complexity with different aromatic profiles to our wines. Although planting is not complete, every year more vineyards are being established in the red rocky river bed soils.

Growers: Aridus Wine Company also purchases only the best quality grapes from growers in and out of the state.

2014 Petite Sirah: 2017 Winner San Francisco International Wine Competition: A deep purple hued wine with aromas of fresh plums, cassis, and blackberry bolstered by vanilla and heavily toasted oak.  The flavor hits you upfront with fresh berries before giving way to a long finish of vanilla and espresso. $39.90

2015 Viognier: 2017 Winner San Francisco International Wine Competition: This lemon-gold wine bursts with aromas and flavors of acacia, orange zest and juicy nectarine.  The palate is full and weighty with additional flavors of cream, bitter almond, and fresh wood shavings.  The perfect wine for rich, buttery dishes such as savory galettes, pasta with cream sauce, or roasted chicken. $36.75

2015 Cabernet: An elegant, medium-bodied wine with aromas and flavors of fresh blackberries, dark chocolate, dried herbs, and pine nuts.  The tannins are very smooth and fine.  The mid-palate brings a savory meatiness, with a long, cocoa finish. $47.25

2015 Malvasia Bianca: This semi-sweet wine is a bright pale lemon in color with lovely floral aromas of jasmine and honeysuckle.  On the palate, flavors of stone fruit, predominantly peach, and ripe tropical notes of pineapple and mango persist for a long finish.  The bright acidity ensures that despite the residual sugar, it cleans up nicely and is never cloying. $29.40

2016 Sauvignon Blanc: Winner 2017 San Francisco International Wine Competition: A clear, pale lemon colored wine with a nose dominated by clean, delicate aromas of fresh tropical fruit—pineapple, banana, and guava.  The body is light, crisp, and refreshing with flavors of citrus and tropical fruit.  Orange, lemon, pineapple, and passionfruit fill the palate and a hint of fresh ginger spiciness rounds out the finish. $33.60

2016 Malvasia Bianca: Highly aromatic, our Malvasia Bianca has orange blossom, ginger, and exotic spices on the pallet, finishing with juicy pear, tangerine, cardamom and coriander. $36.75

2015 TANK 16: White Blend: A crisp, semi-sweet wine that is as refreshing as the monsoon rains. This white blend delivers an aromatic punch of Golden Delicious apples, lime zest, and white flowers.  The scents carry through to the palate, which finishes with a hint of almonds and toasty brioche.  Enjoy with with soft-ripened cheeses, delicate fish dishes and your favorite summer fruits. $12.60

2014 TANK 28: Red Blend: This fusion has notes of leather and dried herbs, followed with concentrated, mouth-coating morello cherry, and hints of black pepper.  It is viscous with moderate, slightly chalky tannins. It finishes with a cocoa powder and vanilla oak sweetness.  333 cases made. $12.60
